I bought a Nissan Qashqai from FY AUTOS on the 29.12.2025. So far the battery has died a few days after purchase and needed replacing. They replaced the battery but I did not receive an apology for the situation or any follow up to make sure everything is now fine. I only received one working key at the time of purchase - one key had a dead battery. I’ve had a slow puncture which they assured me wasn’t that at time of purchase even when a left back tyre warning light came on at the garage and they just pumped it up, there is now further mechanical issues with the car. The car will barely move off in 1st gear, when it does it’s shaky and rumbles, I’ve had the car under 50 days. The car as a general has become very jittery to drive. Mechanic is stating both clutch and gear box issues which will need replacing. Awaiting full diagnostics and price. The dealership have directed me to a warranty company instantly before even apologising or having any kind of conversation with me. This feels like a complete fob off rather than trying to understand the issue and working towards a solution, they have stated I’m covered by the warranty and it’s nothing to do with them although this is legally incorrect. They have now not responded to my previous message. When spending £8250.00 cash on a car you would expect there to be no issues and much better customer service if there are any issues. Avoid buying a car from this company to avoid disappointment. I will be sure to post awareness on other platforms also.
